The transom seat cushions are removable for fishing and convert to a complete bait prep center. Our 33 gallon insulated livewell and spacious rigging access are cleverly concealed for maximum use of space. On the dash, there?s room for a full color chart plotter and radar. The R265 has reserve floatation for added peace of mind and sleeping provisions for two adults.
Construction Details
Robalo uses premium polyester and modified polyester resins along with E-glass woven roving fiberglass cloth in the layup of their products. The 265R's hull is solid fiberglass below the waterline with cored hull sides above the waterline. The hull has 23 degrees of dead-rise at the transom and features two running strakes and reversed chines. The stringers are fiberglass and are installed with Robalo's proprietary 6040 integration process. The boat is constructed with full basic flotation and comes with a ten year transferable warranty from Robalo. The deck layup is similar to the hull's but with the coring used to stiffen the walking areas of the deck. Note that the deck, cabin and cockpit are one piece construction The entire boat is hand-laid to a high standard.
Cabin Details
The cabin is very attractively finished with cherry wood accents, beautiful soft goods and a full fiberglass liner. The layout has a V-shaped dinette in the bow with removable table. The dinette does convert to a double berth by dropping the table. The galley is aft on port and is well equipped with sink, microwave, refrigerator & hide away stove. The enclosed head is opposite of the galley on starboard and features a china bowl toilet, fiberglass liner and handheld shower. There is about 6' standing headroom as you enter the cabin.

One of the unique features of this boat is the outstand fish box capacity. There are three large boxes in the helm area that can be used to storage your catch. There is one in-sole between the seats. A second box is found under the port fore and aft facing passenger seat. And the third is under the jump seat behind the captain's chair. All are fiberglass lined with drains. In the cockpit, the pictures show an aft bench seat which some die-hard fisherman might take issue with. Not to worry, the seat cushions and back rest are quickly removable and can be stowed away in the cabin making the cockpit arrangement ideal.

The Robalo 265R is an impressive good looking compact walk-around with a powerful pair of F-225 Yamaha's. The boat has been lift kept under cover since new and with less than 150 hours on the package; she is barely broken-in. This is a perfect cross-over boat for those who love to fish but need the comfort and cruiseablity of a cuddy / express boat. Performance is fantastic with a 35+ mph cruise and a top speed of 50 mph. Economy is very respectable at about 1.5 mpg at cruise. This complete package does include an aluminum trailer.
